Completion of these courses will provide you with appraiser continuing education credit. Please see the course approval letter for details regarding potential credit to be earned. Students attending the live on-site 7 HOUR USPAP UPDATE MUST HAVE THEIR OWN CURRENT EDITION OF USPAP IN CLASS (2024 Edition)(either in print or electronic format) and the 2024 USPAP REFERENCE AND GUIDANCE MANUAL. USPAP IS OBTAINED FROM THE APPRAISAL FOUNDATION AT WWW.APPRAISALFOUNDATION.ORG
Live Streaming - Remote Continuing Education
Students in live streaming classes must have a reliable internet connection operating without interruption, a webcam, audio, and microphone that will be active and available for interaction with the class and instructor during the entire program.
Appraisers taking the live streamed 7 Hour USPAP Update must have a current edition of USPAP (2024 Edition), 2024 7 hour USPAP Student Manual, and 2024 USPAP Reference and Guidance Manual (either in print or electronic format). All USPAP documents may be obtained from the Appraisal Foundation (www.appraisalfoundation.org)
Live streaming is broadcast Eastern Time.
Other course materials and instructions to join the live stream will be emailed to you two weeks prior to the course(s).

Take advantage of our discounted tuition for our continuing education package of courses. Our continuing education series includes the 7 hour National USPAP Update, the Law Update, and electives. Take these courses live streamed in the comfort of your home or office, no examinations are required. Students attending the 7 hour USPAP Update must bring their copy of the current edition of USPAP (2024) to class (either in print or electronic). Students in live streamed USPAP Update Courses should also have a current edition of the 7 hour USPAP Student Manual and USPAP Guidance and Reference Manual. USPAP may be obtained from the Appraisal Foundation (www.appraisalfoundation.org)

This course focuses on the elements necessary for an appraiser's understanding and compliance with fair housing and non-discrimination laws and policies concerning disparate treatment and disparate impact.
This class meets from 11am until 4pm.

Practical contemporary valuation issues that appraisers are confronted with on a regular basis are addressed. The course includes segments and case studies involving Land Valuation with few or no land sales; residential income analysis in the world of short term rentals; zoning and legal permissibility issues; and supporting adjustments in sales comparison.
This course meets from 4 pm until 6 pm on Friday and from 8 am until noon on Saturday.

Typical limiting conditions that are included in an appraisal and how they affect the analysis are addressed as well as examples of when to employ Extraordinary Assumptions and/or Hypothetical Conditions. A review of zoning and land use control is included as well as a review of depreciation analysis. Risk management is addressed with a focus on E&O; Standards; and the appraiser's defense.
This course meets from 1 pm until 6 pm on Saturday and from 8 am until 10 am on Sunday.

Students in live streaming virtual classrooms must have a copy of the CURRENT EDITION OF USPAP, the 2024 7 hour USPAP student manual and the 2024 USPAP Guidance and Reference Manual. USPAP is obtained from the Appraisal Foundation (www.appraisalfoundation.org)
USPAP Update class sessions meet 10 am until 6 pm.
