Our continuing education series includes the 7 hour National USPAP Update, the Law Update, and electives of Foreclosures and Short Sales and 2-4 Family Appraisal basics. Take these courses live, no examinations are required. Students attending the 7 hour USPAP Update must bring their copy of the current edition of USPAP to class. USPAP may be obtained from the Appraisal Foundation (www.appraisalfoundation).

Courses are conducted statewide with class sessions meeting 8:00 AM until 6:00 PM.

Completion of this Law Update will provide you with 8 hours of appraiser continuing education credit. This course satisfies 3 hours of law update requirement and 5 hours of specialty education.

Courses are conducted statewide with class sessions 3:30 PM until 6:00 PM on Fridays and 8:00 AM until Noon Saturday.

This is the 7-hour national standards course required for appraiser continuing education.  This course is wholly conducted online and requires completion of a course examination for credit.

Appraising 2 - 4 Family and Multi-Family Properties begins with an overview of various physical and legal concerns when appraising a residential income property.  The discussion continues with effectively performing an income and expense analysis, as well as applying valuation methodology and techniques for residential income properties.  Finally, the appraiser will gain insightful knowledge of reporting the conclusions of a residential income property including regulations, guidelines, and prescribed reporting forms of major mortgage lenders.

Courses are conducted statewide with class sessions meeting 10 AM until 6 PM.

All real estate professionals will gain further insight into how foreclosures and short sales affect the valuation process.  Important appraisal report forms and other documents that real estate professionals need to be most familiar with are also covered.  New legislation and regulations developed in response to the current conditions of the real estate market are discussed, as well as future concerns for appraisers.

Courses are conducted statewide with class sessions meeting Saturday 1:00 PM until 6:00 PM and Sunday 8:00 AM until 10:00 AM.
